ERAS

Analog, over the edge

The app · For Mac

A colorist's tool, not a filter pack.

Fujifilm RAF first, plus other RAW formats, JPG, TIFF, PNG and HEIC. Looks down the left, the photo split before and after in the middle, every tool on the right.

The Eras window: Looks column on the left, a rose hip photo split before and after in the middle, the stack and export on the right
The Eras stack: Channel Split, Color Editor, Color Balance, Halation and Bloom, Film Stock, Clarity, Detail, Grain, each with an on and off eye

The stack

Every tool, in grading order.

Each one shows its setting and switches off with its eye, so you see exactly what it adds.

What's inside

The looks, the light, the damage.

01

Film stocks

Color negative, cinema and slide looks built on a film model. Strength runs from 0 to 200%, past the film into more of it.

02

Black and white

Stock responses with the classic color filters, yellow through red, plus toning.

03

Grain that knows the frame

Sized to a 36 mm frame, so a 26 MP file and a 40 MP file carry the same grain at the same print size.

04

Halation and bloom

Highlights glow and bleed the way they do on film.

05

Atmosphere

Fog, smoke, light rays, floating dust and light leaks. Eras reads the depth of the frame, so fog sits behind your subject, not on their face.

06

Over the edge

Overdrive, channel split, cross-process, redscale, a four-color print screen. Roll the dice for a look you would never have dialed in.

07

Film damage, kept subtle

Dust, fine hair, faint scratches along the film's long axis, stains, water spots.

08

Your archive stays yours

Originals are never written to. Edits save alongside, presets save as your own. Export keeps EXIF, GPS and lens data.
